Girasol Factory (ジラソール
Overview[]
Girasol Factory was first mentioned in a video feed taken from a fallen S.C.A.R. Bravo team operative combat transmitter showing Renegade Soldiers taking the surviving Bravo team operatives including their leader Hunt to that location after overwhelming them.
After Alpha team arrived at Lixeira and found the surviving Delta and Assault team operatives along with their leader Casey; they, along with Casey (he decided to come along since he is still standing) and Delta 1, went to Girasol Factory.
After Shin blasted the entrance with a rocket launcher, a wave of Civilian Militia appeared but are gunned by the operatives. Moving further in the compound while defeating Renegade Soldiers and Raptors, the operatives arrived at the entrance where some of them position outside to secure the compound. Entering the factory where Fortune had to close the truck yard shutter to crack a security system controlling a security gate, Casey and Delta 1 assist him by defeating enemies impeding his progress.
With the enemies defeated and the security gate unlocked, Casey decided that he and Delta 1 will go down the elevator first (as a precaution in case of traps set in the elevator). While the elevator heads down with Alpha team monitoring it from a security room, Casey and Delta 1 have to deal with renegade soldiers laying in ambush on surrounding platforms and Seekers as a final wave of enemy attacks. While dealing with the Seekers, the elevator suddenly stops at one of the floors due to it being locked out. Fortune is unable to unlock the elevator from the security room and instructs Casey and Delta 1 to head to a control room to operate an emergency switch handle to unlock it.
After exiting the elevator and heading past a corridor, Casey and Delta 1 found the remnants of the Bravo team engaged in combat against the Renegade Soldiers. Assisting Bravo team to defeat them, Casey is able to account all the operatives except Hunt which King, leader of the Alpha team, is certain where Hunt is being held. Advancing further in the factory, defeating Renegade Soldiers and machines; and Delta 1 using a VIGUM Missile launcher to destroy a junction box powering a shortened crane, Casey and Delta 1 reached a control room and operated an emergency switch handle to unlock the elevator.
With the elevator unlocked, Casey and Delta 1 head back to the elevator and continue heading down to the lowest floor while defeating more Renegade Soldiers and machines impeding their progress. Once the elevator reached the lowest floor, Casey and Delta 1 meet up with Alpha team. Delta 1 operated a switch which opened doors to a wide area.
At the wide area, Hunt is found being crudely strapped to a missile by King and Casey before Paulo Guerra appeared with a giant robot behind him. Initially, he tried to give the signal to launch the nuclear missiles via a phone call only to have his cellphone shot away by Casey. After that, he gets into a giant robot powered by jets and armed with missile launchers and laser cannons. After a battle, he is killed by a sniper rifle bullet fired into the robot cockpit.
After Paulo Guerra is killed, Hunt informs King and Casey that the enemy has rigged him by placing the launch device inside his body and that it is active as long as his heart is still beating. Casey contacts HQ for advice on disarming the launch device but is informed by King that there is no time remaining. When King tries to shoot Hunt, Casey is extremely concerned about King being serious in shooting their partner. In the end, the launch device is safely disarmed and that all three of them safely made out of the factory alive. Hunt encourages Casey to live on just as she wished.
