Grassmarket District is the setting for the console-exclusive scenario in the PlayStation 2 version of Crisis Zone.

Located somewhere within coastal United Kingdom (possibly Edinburgh, Scotland, as there is a real location named such), the main Grassmarket Street district features city feel with shops, restaurants and an open area. There, U.R.D.A.'s experimental stealth defense droid, Meta Morphic A-0940 attacks Claude McGarren at the open area.
Belforte Hotel has a casino and a rooftop swimming pool. Jared Hunter attacks with U.R.D.A. air units when Claude McGarren rescues Melissa Kessler at the rooftop swimming pool.
Crimson Beach (named Crimson Sea in the PAL version) is the sea that the Belforte Hotel overlooks. Jared Hunter attempts to make his escape using an armed cruiser as the S.T.F. operatives follow him mid-air via helicopter.
Story[]
Six months after the Garland Square incident (roughly in April 2001, as the Garland Square incident occurred in October 2000),[1] where U.R.D.A. have been thought to be vanquished, the new U.R.D.A. mastermind Jared Hunter gathers the remnants and occupies Grassmarket District and Belforte Hotel. Claude McGarren and S.T.F.'s Squad 1 are sent once more to annihilate the U.R.D.A. remnants and rescue the hostages, including Melissa Kessler, the daughter of the S.T.F. commander. They fight their way through Grassmarket Street, defeating an experimental stealth defense droid called the Meta Morphic A-0940 in the process. They then storm the Belforte Hotel, where Melissa is held on the rooftop swimming pool. There, they are confronted by Hunter and his airborne attack squad. Declaring his intent for revenge, Hunter engages and loses to Squad 1. He then attempts escape in an armed cruiser, but is killed when the cruiser is destroyed by McGarren's chopper. McGarren and his men then take Melissa to safety, having ended the U.R.D.A.'s terror once and for all.
