Location of Lukano in relation to Astigos island and Zagorias Federation
Lukano (ルカノ Rukano) is a fictitious country on the Mediterranean Coast. It is the main setting of Time Crisis 3.
Astigos Island lies not too far from it. The Zagorias Federation Army, led by Giorgio Zott, sets up a missile base on Astigos in order to destroy Lukano.

- Lukano's building constructions are based on Oia, the district which is located in Santorini, Greece.
- The corridor in Stage 2 Area 1 of the Arcade version, Stages 3, 5, 6, and 7 of the "Rescue Mission", and the Final Day Crisis Mission 1 is also based on one of the attraction places somewhere in Skiathos and Mykonos, Greece.
