The Terrorist Leader (テロリスト・リーダー Terorisuto Rīdā )[note 1] was the unnamed leader of the terrorist organisation W.O.L.F. (Western Order Liberation Front). An antagonist in Time Crisis 4, he appears in Chapter 1 of the "Full Mission" and is exclusively encountered by Captain William Rush on its console port.
Appearance[]
The Terrorist Leader has short brown hair. His eye color is not known as he has his shades on even after death.
The Terrorist Leader wears a green short-sleeved polo shirt with a load-bearing vest over it, brown pants with a brown belt around his waist and black shoes. He also wears shades, a green tuque and green gloves. As for equipment, he has a magazine pouch containing a 20-round magazine on the load-bearing vest along with a handset device which only appears when he is defeated. He also has a device which prevents the Terror Bites from attacking him on his neck. As for weapons, he is armed with a HK G36C assault carbine and uses mite Terror Bites.
Overview[]
The Terrorist Leader is first heard by Rush inside the W.O.L.F. hideout when he and his grunts are having a heated argument with Hamlin Battalion soldiers over their identity. Frustrated, the Terrorist Leader orders the use of Terror Bites (referred to as sample) which results in a gun battle. When Rush cautiously enters the hideout after that and seeing the carnage, the Terrorist Leader fires a shot at him which misses. Afterwards, he orders his grunts to kill Rush while he escapes to the roof.
In combat, the Terrorist Leader wears a device which prevents the Terror Bites from attacking him, fires a HK G36C assault carbine and uses mite Bites which expand quickly upon proximity of their targets and will explode if not destroyed.
Despite these advantages, he is killed at the rooftop. Upon the Terrorist Leader's death, he drops a handset device which is analysed by First Lieutenant Elizabeth Conway and its data shows that a weapon trade-off is going to take place in San Francisco during the afternoon.

Trivia[]
- The Terrorist Leader is the second antagonist in the main Time Crisis series who is not killed by a V.S.S.E. agent. The first is Jake Hernandez from Time Crisis 3 who was killed by Alicia Winston.
Voice Actor Connection[]
- The Terrorist Leader's Japanese voice actor (Rikiya Koyama) was previously the voice of Kiritsugu Emiya from Fate/stay night (and later from Fate/Zero) and would later voice Khamsin[2] from Metal Gear Rising: Revengence Bladewolf DLC. Conversely, Rush's Japanese voice actor (Akio Ootsuka) previosly voiced Solid Snake,[3][4] Solidus Snake,[4] Naked Snake[5] and Big Boss[6] (for the last character, from Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops) from the Metal Gear series and would later voice Iskandar, a Rider-class Servant from Fate/Zero.
- In addition to the voice actor connection, the Terrorist Leader is similar to Khamsin in that both are killed by the secondary protagonists (William Rush for the former and LQ-84i for the latter) before the arrival of the main protagonists (the V.S.S.E. agents for the former and Raiden for the latter). In addition, both characters are only available in later releases of their respective games (PlayStation 3 version for the Terrorist Leader and Metal Gear Rising: Revengence Bladewolf DLC for Khamsin). The difference between the characters killing them is that Rush is never an antagonist whereas LQ-84i is when it later fought against Raiden, destroyed by him but is later rebuilt by Doktor as Blade Wolf (hence becoming a supporting character).
- In addition to the above characters, Rikiya Koyama was also previously the voice of Kurt Roswell[7][8] from Mobile Suit Gundam: Spirits of Zeon ~Dual Stars of Carnage~ and later its sequel Mobile Suit Gundam: Spirits of Zeon ~Memory of Soldiers~. He would later take over from Akira Kamiya as the voice of Kogorou Mouri on 31 October 2009 starting with the 553rd episode of the Detective Conan (
名 探 偵 コナン Meitantei Konan ) anime, and would later voice Taiga Saejima from the Like a Dragon (龍 が如 く Ryuu Ga Gotoku ) series.

Notes[]
- ↑ In Time Crisis 4's English subtitles, the words Terrorist Leader appear together whereas in the Japanese subtitles, the same words appear separately with the word リーダー (rīdā) meaning leader appearing first before the word テロリスト (terorisuto) meaning terrorist which appears in a cutscene after Chapter 1 is completed.
