The High-tech intelligence and surveillance aircraft (
Overview[]
The XSWAC-12 appears to be an aircraft with a combination of the body of a Boeing 747, the T-tail of a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy and the electronics suite of a Boeing E-3 Sentry airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft. There are two probes on the wings which allow it to be refueled from the air via the probe-and-drogue method. There are markings on the aircraft mainly the words "US AIR FORCE" on the left front of the fuselage and "ZZ" on the tail; the numbers "246", some Arabic characters and the marking "19470107 LS-NS PEACE OF AMERICA" on the rear fuselage.
The XSWAC-12 is developed to meet the needs of a new-generation military. Hence, it has the ability of handling combined military tactics and strategy intelligence, electronic warfare and can command the entire U.S. military.[1] Despite its capabilities, the aircraft has some limitations such as being unable to check the status of any isolated buildings which an example is the Biological Weapon Research Facility in Wyoming, requiring time to unlock an entrance to an Air Force Base underground facility security room and accessing the emergency shutdown system to shutdown the trap that the V.S.S.E. agents have to destroy after Wild Dog activated it (First Lieutenant Conway remarked as it being complicated); and the inability to access the XA-60-Ex controls which are a separate system.
As of the events of Time Crisis 4, it is a prototype which is being deployed for tests.[1]
